Election 2011
This year the Kids Voting online ballot was available for home and school use from Oct. 21 through Election Day, Nov. 8. Additionally, Kids Voting booths offered a "real-life" voting experience in all Buncombe County Early Voting Locations during the early voting period culminating with Kids Voting Day on November 5.

With 100% of locations reporting, a total of 883 student votes were cast - a 14% increase over the comparable Election 2007 participation. 
Kids Voting Day ballots comprised 11% while in-school, after-school and online votes made up the remaining 89%.
