2009 Election Volunteers
High School Students: 66% of precincts were captained by 46 high school students representing Asheville, Enka, Erwin, North Buncombe, Owen, Reynolds, and Roberson high schools and Carolina Day School. These students encouraged their communities to vote, managed the Kids Voting booths, helped at Election Central and celebrated our democratic process.
This same group of students will meet again in January to address issues that challenge Kids Voting and participate in leadership training.
